Hello there! Thanks for visiting our CaseMaggi website. We hope you decide to stay in one of our vacation homes. Michael and I met and fell in love in Florence. We have spent over 20 years enjoying the city as well as the Italian coast. Our favorite seaside location is Portovenere, so much so that we decided to spend time living between both cities. Firenze (Florence) with its cobbled streets and art on every corner and Portovenere with its splendid Golfo dei Poeti, Palmaria island and its paths to the Cinque Terre. Both cities are UNESCO World Heritage sites. CaseMaggi Holiday Homes What does CaseMaggi mean? Well, in Italian casa (pronounced ka.za) means a house or home. When you have more than one home, you say case (pronounced ka.ze). I am called Maggi by my friends, short for Margherita. So, we decided to call our home rental business CaseMaggi or Maggi’s homes. We have one apartment in the center of Florence in the Sant’Ambrogio neighborhood and 3 apartments in Portovenere overlooking the sea. Come visit us for some R&R – Renaissance and Relaxation! Enjoy art and museums in Firenze and then head to the seaside for beach time and hiking in Portovenere and Palmaria. You can visit Michelangelo’s David statue in the morning then hike the trails to Cinque Terre in the afternoon.
